Gracie Buying Her Own Ice Cream

I have been giving Gracie her own money, she goes into the store with me by her side and buys her own noodles or in this case ice cream to go with her cute cupcakiness! Inevitably it turns every heart of stone into a smile!!! I just love it!!! You go Gracie Mae Mae!!!!

I was wondering how the people reacted- they don't seem to do well with different abilities. It is so hurtful. I remember them grabbing Anna's face and staring at her lip- I was so shocked...

Way to go- way to show them what she can do, her cuteness and teach them how lovable she is!!

It appears that there is very little that is going to hold Miss Gracie-cakes back in life! She is obviously a very independent woman. I do believe God has some mighty big plans for her life!!

She is just so sweet. I posted about your auction on my thankful Sunday post. Hope it gets some people to bid. Hugs

The stares are so cruel aren't they. I am convinced it's from fear of the unknown they don't have a clue how special "special kids" are and how much they can do if you just work with them and give them a chance. You go Sal for showing her how great she is!!

That just breaks my heart. I pray every day that China's cultural attitudes toward people with special needs will become one of compassion.

Look at that most wonderful CupCake of yours, how happy she is, confident and blessed!!! She now has a chance at "life" as a little girl should have. Look how ready she was to live life with you! I can't wait till you are home with the rest of your beautiful family and everyone gets to share in this little darling of yours. God really is an amazing God... <3

I heard through the grapevine that you were on your journey to get little Gracie Mae. Boy did I have some catching up to do. I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon reading about little Miss Gracie-cakes. What an adorable little girl! I can see why you want to hug and squeeze her and never let her go. Faith has brought her to your family and your family has been blessed!

Lots of love and big HUGS!!
