Report from her baby home:
Everyone calls her Guo Guo and I really don’t know why. She came to us from the orphanage and they called her Guo Guo there. She knows her English name and says she likes it. I told her it sounds a little like Guo Guo. But no one calls her by her English name, but she does know what it is.
She has a leadership personality, no bossy, but she has no problem letting you know what she likes or wants. She compliant and is learning more and more to obey. She is a pleaser and loves it when rewarded with a hug.
She is doing well, she went to camp for one week and went swimming everyday. She really likes swimming. She runs, plays, jumps, seems to have no problem with balance or mobility.
She knows her family is coming, but she doesn’t seem anxious about it. She loves to have her picture made and to be measured. She basically lives in the here and now. She’s always happy when I arrive, calling me “nainai bao mu” (grandma babysitter). She’s the first child to call me this!
I think she sounds adorable and like she will fit in just fine in our home!!! This mama is missing this little one today!!! OUr home just doesn't feel complete without her! She is already ingrained into our lives!!
